# e-Invoicing In some markets, invoices and credit notes must be **certified** by the local tax authority — with a registered number series, a digital signature, and a compliant PDF — before they are legally valid. Lavanda handles this through certified providers, but each market has its own setup and responsibilities for the operator. These pages cover what **you** need to do, per market, to issue compliant documents from the PMS. ## Markets - [e-Invoicing Italy 🇮🇹](/finance-and-accounting/e-invoicing/italy/): Smart Receipts (documento commerciale, with no fiscal printer needed) and SDI Invoicing (fattura elettronica) for Italy, delivered in partnership with Invopop. Lavanda configures the integration; you provide your company details and, for Smart Receipts, register your AdE credentials. - [e-Invoicing Portugal 🇵🇹](/finance-and-accounting/e-invoicing/portugal/) — customer setup for AT-compliant invoicing via Invopop (AT credentials, number series, and SAF-T reporting). - [e-Invoicing Spain: SII 🇪🇸](/finance-and-accounting/e-invoicing/spain-sii/): our Edicom integration currently supports electronic VAT compliance in Spain and is expanding to other regions where the tax authorities expect realtime / near to realtime VAT invoice reporting. Every invoice, credit note and correction is chained and submitted to the AEAT in real time, with a QR code and verification details applied to the invoice document.
