# Pricing Multipliers

MCP tools for reading and bulk-updating the channel pricing multiplier on a workspace's Booking.com and Airbnb
accounts (Settings → Integrations → Booking.com / Airbnb in the PMS).

## Available Tools

- [list_pricing_multipliers](/mcp/tools/distribution/pricing-multipliers/list_pricing_multipliers/) - List Booking.com and Airbnb pricing multipliers
- [update_pricing_multipliers](/mcp/tools/distribution/pricing-multipliers/update_pricing_multipliers/) - Bulk-update channel multipliers across workspaces

## Overview

Each connected channel account carries a single `pricingMultiplier` (valid range 0.001–4):

- **`1`** - parity, rates are sent to the OTA unchanged.
- **`< 1`** - rates are lowered (e.g. `0.9` = 10% lower).
- **`> 1`** - rates are raised (e.g. `1.1` = 10% higher).

The channel is selected with an enum — `AIRBNB` or `BOOKING_COM`. The write is keyed by the underlying account, so
the tools resolve the workspace's account(s) for the channel first and apply the multiplier to each.

A workspace can have more than one account per channel. By default an update is **channel-wide** — it applies to every
connected account on that channel. To change one account in isolation, pass its `accountId` (from
`list_pricing_multipliers`, which returns one row per account). Within a single call you can target different accounts
of the same channel, but you cannot combine a channel-wide update with an account-specific one for the same
workspace/channel (they would overlap).

## Typical bulk update flow

1. `search_workspaces` to find the workspaces in scope.
2. `list_pricing_multipliers` per workspace to read current values per channel (one row per account).
3. Build an array of `{ channel, workspaceId, pricingMultiplier }` items — add `accountId` to any item that should
target a single account — and call `update_pricing_multipliers` once.

> **Heads up:** changing a multiplier re-broadcasts rates to the OTA for every unit connected to the account, so it is
> a real pricing change rather than a config tweak. Test on a single workspace before a portfolio-wide run.
