# update_buildings

Update one or more buildings in parallel, including building-level tax-code assignments.

### UpdateBuildingInput

| `coverImage` | `string \| null` | No | URL of the cover image for the building. Pass null to clear; omit to leave unchanged. |
| `currencyCode` | `string` | No | Currency code (e.g., "EUR", "USD", "GBP") |
| `name` | `string` | No | The name of the building |
| `numberOfFloors` | `number` | No | Number of floors in the building |
| `builtOn` | `string \| null` | No | Date the building was constructed, in YYYY-MM-DD format; pass null to clear it |
| `lastRenovatedOn` | `string \| null` | No | Date the building was last renovated, in YYYY-MM-DD format; pass null to clear it |
| `startedRentingOn` | `string \| null` | No | Date the building started renting, in YYYY-MM-DD format; pass null to clear it |
| `spaceTypeId` | `string \| null` | No | ID of the space type to assign to the building; pass null to clear it |
| `taxCodeId` | `string \| null` | No | Tax code (VAT/GST) to apply at the building level. Pass a tax code ID to assign, null to clear, or omit to leave unchanged. Tax codes are building-level only — units and unit types inherit from the building. |
| `companyTaxCodeId` | `string \| null` | No | Company tax code (VAT/GST) to apply at the building level. Pass a tax code ID to assign, null to clear, or omit to leave unchanged. Used when company-level VAT differs from the building-level rate. |
