# reorder_media_items

Reorder media items by passing their IDs in the desired order. Positions are assigned from the array index
(first ID becomes position 1).
All items must belong to the entity identified by entityType and entityId. Use `list_media_items` first to fetch the
current IDs, then pass them back in the desired order.

## Input

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `entityType` | `EntityType` | Yes | The type of entity the media items belong to. BUILDING for a building, UNIT for a unit (property), UNIT_TYPE for a unit type (multi-unit group). - [EntityType](#entitytype) |
| `entityId` | `string` | Yes | The ID of the entity the media items belong to |
| `itemIds` | `string[]` | Yes | Ordered array of media item IDs. The array order becomes the new order: the first ID is assigned position 1, the second position 2, and so on. All items must belong to the entity identified by entityType and entityId. IMPORTANT: pass EVERY media item under the entity in this array — any item omitted keeps its previous position, which can collide with a position you assign here and produce an indeterminate display order. Always call list_media_items first to fetch the full set of IDs, then pass them all back in the desired order. |

### EntityType

| Value | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `BUILDING` | A building containing unit types and units |
