Fees Tools
Tools for reading property fees (cleaning fee, security deposit, tourist tax, extra-person fee, etc.) at the building, unit type, or unit level.

Overview
Section titled “Overview”Property fees are configured per scope (building / unit type / unit) and identified by a shared FeeName
(e.g. Cleaning Fee, Security Deposit).
They are distinct from optional services (see the Services tools), which represent
guest-selectable add-ons like pet fees or late check-out.
At booking time the fee amount resolves from the most specific scope downwards: the unit’s fee, falling back to the unit
type’s fee, falling back to the building’s fee. list_fees returns the rows actually configured at the scope you query
— it does not flatten the inheritance chain.
Use list_fee_names to resolve a fee name string (e.g. "Cleaning Fee") to its feeNameId for client-side filtering
of list_fees results.
